So popular is this type of music, that in October 1977, the Pineridge Bluegrass As- sociation was formed, with members from Port Hope and, Cobourg, in the east, tô Kitch- ener and Burlington in the west, and north to Lindsay. Meeting are held ona,,reg- ular basis at the Columbus Town Hall, north of Oshawa.
