This Intersection 4"has been Uic scene of numnerous traffic deaths,"1 he said. "I don't know why there should' be so many fatal accidents at this intersec- tion. " We certainly don't want it like Uiis corner down here (pointing in a southeasterly direction from Uice Council Chambers); bodies ail over the place." The southeasterly direc- tion indicatcd the Anderson- Dundas Hopkins Street in- tersection and the "bodies all over the place" referred to Uic most recent fatal accident at this intersection. This accident was a colli- sion between a westbound gravel truck making a turn souUi onto Hopkins street from Dundas street when it collided with an eastbound passenger car. The occupants of the car were tossed out of the car onto the road. 1The fatal accident occured just as the children were coming out of scliool from Anderson Collegiate and St. Theresa's School.
