The following is the pro- gram for Senior Citizens ,W.eek: Monday, June il at 9 a.m. a bus will leave the Seniors Activity Centre for "Plant World" in the west Toronto area, and proceed to the Hamilton Botannical Garden for a picnic lunch. After lunch there wiIl be a visit to Dundurn Castie. Tuesday, June 12 at 8 p.m. there wiIl be a pub night with a fish and chip dinner at the activity centre. D.J. Gerry. Robitaille will provide the entertainment. Wednesday, June 13, at 10:30 arn. a bus will leave the activity centre for the annual boat trip around the Toronto Islands. Thursday, June 14 a bus will leave the activity centre at 1 :30 p.m. to provide a tour of Parkwood, the R.S. ý,McLaughlin estate in Osh- awa. Afternoon tea will be served in the rose garden and conservatory. Thursday, June 14 at the Centennial Building Theatre, starting at 8 pm. there will be a variety show produced by Bill Condie of the Windsor Place senior citizen's apart- ments. All seniors are welcome. Friday, June 15 at 8 p.m. there will be a finale dance party at Heydenshore Pavilion with music, enter- tainment and buffet.' Sunday, June 17, there wil be a devotional service and afternoon tea at the Ontario Ladies' College and the activity centre. Several other events are planned for June. June 23 at 2 p.m. the Whitby Seniors Co-operatingz club will present a Straw- berry Social at St. Marks Church House at the corner of Byron and Coiborne St. There will be door prizes, lucky draws and straw- bernies and ice cream.* June 21 from 2 p.m. to 4 p:m., Fairview Lodge will hold its annual Strawberry Tea. June 26 at 2:30 p.m. there will be an Open House at the Canadian Legion Hall on Byron St. with a light lunch in the late afternoon. There will be musical entertain- ment, and alI seniors are Garage sale A garage sale will be held June 9 frorn 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Brooklin United Church. A box lunch will be provided. There will be another racing day on July 26. in Brooklin, goods, garcien equipment, furniture, antiques and children's clothing.
