More than 400 students to atten More than 400 former stu- dents of Henry Street High School have purchased tick- ets for the school's 25th anniversary reunion to be held June 22 and 23. Reunion Committee Chair- man John Bolton ,.repôrts that replies have been recei- ved from as far away as Australia, the United Arab Ef~nirates, Iceland, nine Ca- nadian provinces and 12 sta- tesin the United States. Mr. Bolton emphasises that the reunion is for all former students of Henry Street High SchoolHand Whitby District High School, whether or flot they attended during the past 25 years. The anniversary was desi- gned to mark 25 years since the school on Henry Street* was built to replace the old high school on Colborne Stre- et in 1954. Plans caîl for an Open, House at the school, starting at 6:30 p.m. June 22. The Open House will continue until 9:30 p.m. when a recep- tion and social hour will be held at the Iroquois Park Arena. 'The social hour will continue until 1 a.m. Reunion program will be available at the school on both June 22 and 23. For the Open House, "wel- come rooms are being set up for the 1920's and earlier, 1930's, 1940's, 1950's, early. 1960's, late 1960's and 1970's. Special features include "Old Girls" volleyball games in the new gym, June 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and "Old Boys" basketball games in the same location from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Also on Friday evening there will be a slide show of the "old days" at the cafetor- ium, and skits by the Theatre Arts class.
