Dri ving conditions we're very poor as the foggy conditions reduced visibility. Mr. Newman suddenly noticed a sign indicating the end of the road as he- drove along Thickson Road'south. H1e was not able to stop his car in time and both the car and driver went over a 50 foot embankment. The car rolled over once and landed upright on the beaQh of Lake Ontario but it did not reach the water's edge, Inspector Fleming said. Mr. Newman was taken to the Dr.- Ruddy Hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries.
