The show at the Iroquois Park Arena will still be retaiuing _a variety thenie but will use a number of large groups to utilize the floor space of the arena. The Talen Showcase will be held July 29 at 7:30'p.m., with free admission. The Ajax Pipe Band will be doiug some marchin band routines and Scottish tunes, iucluding Amazing Grace. The Whitby Brass Band, fresh from their tour of the east« coast, will preseut a medley. of popular tunes including 76 Trombones. ' The Oshawa-Gemini Gymnast Club will present a program of miud-bending, back-beuding coutortions on the paralleli bars, horses aud tumblin mats. Two large dauce groups, The Sokoli Ukrainian Dau- cers, and the Malta Youth Club Daucers, wil be perfor- ming a lively series of color- ful Ukrainian dauces, aud a colorful ballet teiliug a story of visitors from outer space. Phil Trudelle and Jenny Moyle are appearing as soloist singers, featuring such tunes as This Is My Life and New York, accompauied by Bey Smith and the Music Makers, who will also fea- ture Ju a medLev of ponular spiritual songs. Bey and daughter Robynne will also play a duet for piano and organ. Bert Heaver, director of Talent Showcase, will be joining Jeuny Moyle and Phil Trudelle iu a spoof of tunes past and present, which should provide lots of fun for ail ages. SAUl participants wil take part lu a stirriug finale. Assistant Director is Peter Thrasher, Bert Verriet is chief of lighting and Bill Diel of Yamnaha Music Corp is haudliug the sound. The St. John Ambulance Cadel Corps will provide first aid services as well-as assisting as ushers. Horse Two horse shows will be held by Pinewood Place Pro- motions lu connection with the County Town Carnival. A Schooling horse show will be held from 9:30 a.ni. to 4:30 p.m. July 28 and the County Town Carnival Horse Show will be held at the saine time, Aug. 5.
