This wiii include the reconstruction of a cuivert a t a' total, e-stimated cost 0of $48,000.' The Hall's Road culvert reconstruction is estimated at $8"00. The presènt culvert on Hall's Road at the crossing of the westeriy branch of the. Lynde Cre 'ek is to be reali- gned to match the direction of the wýater course. The tender submitted by the .Wharram Tree Service Limited of Cobourg was $1,670 lower than the -lowest tender submitted by. the three firms in Whitby who' tendered 'on the projecet. The 'tender acceptedý by, council ,Ã"n July 23r'd is within the, budgeted amount for brush and tree trimming. When the o'perations com- mittee toured the core area of the town last June they round a number of trees that .-dtil be a hazard, to ,people 'and property.
