Hawk, The Henry Street Hawks junior boys basketball team enjoyed a victory over the McLaughlin Tregans by a -comfortable margin of 59-29 during Lake Ontario Secon- dary School Association <LOSSA) play last week. Mark Scruton was Henry's top scorer with 13 /S 2, Trojans i points while team mates AI Donaldson, Gavin Parry, and Barry Dickson adding 7 each. Brent Sullivan lead the Hawk's senior team to a 54- 51 victory over the Trojans scoring 21 points. Phil LeBlanc. was the other top scorer with 16. Henry's attempts for a full sweep were dashed when the Trojans defeated the midget Hawks 49-39. Jimmy Dean a >nd Gary Roberts were Henry's top scorers with 13 points a piece. Out on the tu*es Dan Deschenes of Henry Street High School seems to be in a bit of trouble at the hands of Rob Carriere of Vanier High School, Oshawa, but the referree is right on hand to make sure no foui play is afoot. The two competed against each other in a recent wrestling tournament held at Henry for the cbampionship in the 112 pound weight category.
