Our mistake In last week's issue of the Whitby Free Press (February 25) we incorrec- tly called the Brooklin Red- men the C.B.C. Builders in a headline about the upcoming Redmen season. The head, which read "Builders fare well in draft for 1981 season", should have read "Redmen fare well in draft for 1981 season". The Free Press is sorry about the mistake and any inconvenience it may have caused. In the fall the Hawk's football team finished their second straight year as the Lake Ontario Secondary School Association league cham- pions, defeating the McLaughlin Trojans in the final game. This past weekend the Hawk's senior basketball team managed a sound vic- tory over the Pickering Trojans 60-41 to capture top honors in the L.O.S.S.A. finals. The senior Hawk's, who finished the regular season with a win-loss average of 30-6, held top Pickering shooter Tim Rider to only 16 points during the weekend's final held at Durham College in Oshawa. This, coupled with a 76 per cent average from the foul line and an early first quar- ter lead of 15 points, assured the Henry team's victory. Garvin Clarke was the top shooter for the winners sinking 16 points. Other scorers for Henry were Phil LeBlanc with 13, Paul Connelly with 9, Mike Cloke with seven, and Scott Kapuscinski and Brent Sullivan with five points each. With the win the Hawk's have earned their way into the Central Lake Ontario Secondary School Association championships to be held this Saturday at Durham College. The Hawks first game.is scheduled for 3 p.m. with a second gaine to be played, should they win, at 9 p.m. 4 skaters nifer Martin, Tracy Morasch, Jennifer Grass and Patti Creighton.
