LIBERAL MEETING A general meeting of the Durham West Provincial Association will be held on Thursday, May 21, 1981 at 8 p.m. at the Pickering High School, Church Street, Pickering Village, in the library. At this meeting, delegates will be elected to the Ontario Liberal Party Annual Meeting to be held in Kingston, Ontario on June 19-21, 1981. In order to be elected, a delegate must hold a 1981 membership, or must purchase a 1981 mem- bership by 8 p.m. Monday, May 18, 1981. Membership may be pur- chased from W.G. Burleigh, 1797 Listowell Cres., Pickering, or call 839-1616. There will also be an open discussion following the election of delegates. LUNCHEON The United Church Women of St. Mark's United Church will be holding the annual spring luncheon tomorrow, May 21 at 1 p.m. The guest speaker will be Len Cullen of Cullen Gar- dens and Miniature Village. Tickets are $3.75 per person and can be obtained by calling Earlien Mc- Cracken at 668-3961 or Carol Murkar at 668-3057. MINI-MARKET The United Church Women of St. Mark's United Church will hold their mini- market place on June 8 bet- ween 7 and 10 p.m. Crafts and specialty items such as pottery, plants, rug hookings, and paintings will be for sale. A raffle will also be held, tickets to be sold throughout the event. Everyone is welcome. CHAMBER MEETING The next meeting of the Whitby Chamber of Com- merce will be held on May 25 at 12 noon in the Imperial Room of the Le Chalet Restaurant, 110 Dundas Street West. The guest speaker will be James Clinton, management consultant in the small business develop- ment branch of the Ontario Ministry of Industry and Tourism. Tickets are $7 per person and should be reserved before Friday at 12 noon by calling the chamber office at 668-4506. PARENT FINDERS The May meeting of Parent Finders Oshawa will be held next Monday at 8 p.m. in the library of Vin- cent Massey Public School on Harmony Road North in Oshawa.
