The three game schedule will see the three teams vying for an opportunity to play before a crowd at the Canadian National Exhibition stadium prior to the June 24 Toronto Blizzard - Minnesota league game. The two teams with the most points at the end of the series wvill play each other before the Toronto-Minnesota game wvhile the third place team will act as bail boys for the gamne. In addition the boys will travel to participate in one of the Blizzard home practices some tiine before the game. The practice date was not available at press time. Basebail parade Members of the Whitby Minor Basebaîl league are asked to meet in Kinsmen Park at 9:30 a.m. this Saturday, May 30, to prepare for their annual march. The parade will leave Kinsmen Park at 10 a.m. and will make its way to Peel Park where opening ceremonies will be held at approximately il a.m. The opening day games of the Whitby-Ajax Mayor's Cup finals will begin at 1 p.m. with the T-BaIl game being held at South Peel and the Tyke game being held at North Peel Park. The Pee Wees are scheduled to start at 3 p.m. at North Peel Park. Other games include the Bantam game at Pringle Creek Park, starting at 3 p.m., and the Midget game at Iroquois Park, beginning at 3 p.m. Whi*tby wreckers The Whitby Auto Wreckers soundly defeated the Oshawa Midget Shamrocks 11-2 in an Oshawa City and District Sof- tball League gamne last week at North Oshawa Park. Auto Wreckers John Jeffs had two triples and two doubles on the way to their win. Don Rupert scorçd a triple and two singles while Larry Craggs hit a home run and a triple. Phil Fraser added a pair of doubles and Dan Tutton, John Fair and Bill Jenkins accounted for the other Auto Wreekers hits. Ladies softball The next home game for the Oshawa Whitby Dodd and Souter Broadloomn Intermediate Ladies softball teamn will be held tonight against Aurora. Tomorrow night Oshawa-Whitby travels to Chinguacousey. The ladies will also be involved in a tournament to be held this Friday, May 29 through Sunday, May 31 in Barrie.
