This plus the 'A' cbampionship (the first ever tournament win by a Whitby aIl-star team) titie at the recent Gloucester Inter- national Tournament - considering the fact that 12 of the reguhar 15 teain members have neyer played competitive soc- cer prior to this season - certainly gives promise of further successes in tbe future years. in last week's gaine, Whitby, notorious1y slow starters, came out fast and for a change dominated the early going and in fact con- trolled play for most of the first haîf. The early pressure produced results in the form of a penalty kick after only two minutes, however the shot was directed straight to the keeper and the garne remained scoreîess.
