The High Country Rodeo, which will take place at Iroquois Park Saturday and Sun- day the l2th and l3th of Septern- ber, will feature dozens of cowboys and girls, horses, bulis, steers and calves, and of course the ever pi-esent rodeo clowns, who not only entertain you but play a vital part in keeping tbe cowboys out of danger. Tickets for tbe rodeo are $5 for adults and $3 for children and seniors, and can be purchased at the arena. Caif roping As is obvious by the title of this event, the cowboy must rope the calf in tbe least amount of time. Stock con- tractors b ave to change tbeir calves several times a season as there is a weîght rule of bet- ween 200 and 350 lbs, and it doesn't take too long for a caif to surpass tbe limit. The cowboy must bave good timing instincts, and have the ad- vantage of riding a fast Quarter Horse. a SPECIAL RODEO PULL-OUT SECTION
