THe hall was appropriately decorated with traditional Oc- tober artwork, originally designed by Lynn Majoros' grade 4 class at Glen Street Public School. Prizes for the gala evening were donated by Pepi's Pizza, K-Mart, Wheelies Roller Rink and Gerry Emm. We thank you for helping to make our evening a success. Guests included many Corridor neighbours and friends, Councillors Joe Drumm and Tom Edwards and their lovely wives Nan and June and our school board trustee John Buchanan and bis wife Marion. Lynn Majoros and her faithful committee organized an evening of fun and prepared a delicious lunch. Bill Wallace was the lucky winner of the liquid refreshment draw. Bill has promised (although reluctantly) to supply refreshments for the February dance. Congratulations to the social committee for being responsible for yet another successful dance. Anderson Drama Club - presents 'The Admirai Crichton', a comedy set at the turn of the century, on November 4, 5 and 6, 7:30 p.m., in the school auditorium. Tickets are $3 for adults, $2 for studen- ts, and $1 for children, and may be purchased at the school or from any cast member. The four-act play portrays a strange turn of events caused by a ship- wreck. Parents Night - Thursday, October 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. will be open house at Anderson. This will be the parents opportunity to meet your child's teacher and discuss their progress. BAZAARS St. Andrews Presbyterian Church will hold their annual bazaar on Saturday, November 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the church hall. Handicrafts, decorations and a quilt will be on display. The bazaar will also feature a bake table, white elephant table and a tea. room. Mrs. Brian Gee, whose husband is the minister of St. Marks United Church, will officially open the bazaar. Corne and bring a friend. Westminster United Church will hold their annual bazaar on Saturday, November 28 in the church basemnent. Corridor Ratepayers and Thornton Interested Parents Tupperware party was a success. The weather did not co-operate but the association raised over $60 to help with the restoration of the school playground.
