Added to, the basic pension. thiý will give each married pen- sioner receiving the, max- imum GIS a total of 8404.00 or $,M0.00 for the Couple. The Guaranteed Income Supplement is paid to pen- sioners whose income, apart from the Old Age Security pension, is limit- ed, The amount varies in relation to income. The maximum Spouse's Allowanoe will increase to 8404.00 from $393.38- It is made up of an amount equivalenit to the basic Old Age 'Security pension and the maximum GIS at the married rate.-It is paid to persons between 60 and 65 years of age, who are mar- ried to OAS pensioners and meet residenoe require.- ments.
