One is that he was always out practicing whenever he got a chan- ce to. One is his father's philosophy of* being wher e the puck is going to be, not where it is now. Anotherý of his styles was forced on him by always.playing with older boys. He had to learn to avoid being checked. He credits playing lacrosse with teaching hlm how to roll off and away f rom checks without being slowed down. You too can benefit from Canada's national sport by registering this Saturday, March 13, to play the 1982 season with the Whitby- Garrard Road Minor Lacrosse Association. There are two locations: at Iroquois Park Arena and in the Whitby Mal near Woolco. The desks will be open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The cost is $15 per player to a maximum of $25 per family. Several of our players started at the age of 4 years. Some of the bet- ter players are girls. If you've neyer played before, let us know. We will try to arrange some pre-season lacrosse clinics. For more infor- mation cail Tom Frank at 668-4270 in the evenings. LOOKING FOR SCII8A TRAINING? Leum from experte.
