Powell Road, as you know, is still inpassable,un- usable and unfavourable. Now Lynn, I have been told that it is only because we own a small car, and if we bought a 10-ton truck, we would not notice the hills and dales or pot holes as much. That was one excuse, second one - Tom would love to come out and view the disaster, but he is afraid of us ganging up on him and planting poinsettia before he ven- tures on the scene. Joe Bugelli - he just said a flat no, he wouldn't dare ruin his car travelling up the street. Can't blame him, can you Lynn. However, we will see you at the Capers Ball so I will give you the startling news then. Until next Saturday, have fun. P.S. Save your marigold seeds until next spring. We will find a good use for them. Whitby students receive awards Winners of undergra- duate scholarships at Durham College includ- ed seven students from Whitby.
