Whitby got off to a shakey start, losing the first game to Willowdale by a score of 3 to 2. In the second game, Whit- by could not hold on to a 6 to 3 lead and had to, settie for a 6-ailltie with St. Benedicts, Martin- -grove. When they finally ,decided to settie down there was no stopping Whitby. They finished off their round robin play by defeating Wlieatfield, New York 9 to 0, -and Warren Park 6 to 3. Whitby went on to, play Clarkson for the semi-final game winn- ing that one by a score of 9 to 1. They then took on the Royal York Rangers for the Conso- lation Championship Trophy winning by a score of 3tol . That evening saw Whitby matched against Goulding Park Rangers for the Grand Champ- ionship. Despite the od- ds in size and winning record our boys whip- ped them by a score of 9 to 2. Gary Mark led the scoring with a total of 26 points. Greg Roberts came second with 19 points followed by Grant Reveler with 15. The win was a total team effort, seeing every player on the scoreboard.
