Encounters wlth the masai; a warrlor came to visit and Warren trled la trade for bis spear but he wanted far too much, however he ailowed Warren to tbrow it several times. The Masai don't eat beef except on very speclal occasions even though they have many cattie. They use them la show wealth, la gala prestige and they are often part of a dowry. In October, Warren will be speaking at the meeting of the Whitby Historical Society and wil bring some of bis artwork, the feathered things and hopefully many of his nature slides. As for bis African slides we should have another meeting just la see them if he was willing. I arn waitlag with baited breath to see them and hope it will be soon.
