The Durham Association for Famlly Relief Services, 101 ,Mar St. West in Whit- by, bas a prograin to train "relief familles" to take in handicapped persons for short-term relief. The Association bas found that although it is easy to find a sitter for chlldren, parents with handicapped children have difflculties maklng these arrangements. The speakers cover such areas as first-aid, play and stimulation, growth and develop- ment, specific han- dicaps and behaviour management.
