CONSERVATION AUTHORITY This week will -con- clude the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority's 1983 Sum- mer Program but they will be going out in style! On Thursday, Sp tember 1, the wild- flowers of Purple Woods Conservation Area will be studied in a walk through a stand of Sugar Maples. Mee t at the Conservation Authority office at 6:30 p.m. The address is 1650 Dundas Street East, Whitby (above Cherney's). If you prefer, you can meet the group at the Conservation Area. They ask that you-caîl ahead of time so that we know you are there. On -Saturday, ýSep- 'tember 3, the final film and slide presentation will be held at, Heber Down Conservation Area campsite, at 9 p.m. The topic- will. be Eni- dangered ,, ,Spe ies, -something that should be of concern toý everyone.
