Patricia McCarthy wlll speak to the Whitby Rotary Club next Tuesday on "Health Care in the Third World." McCarthy, a registered nurse, holds an Honours B.A. in modern languages and a Master of Health Scien- ce degree in Community Health from the Univer- sity of Toronto. She was recently in- vited by the Canadian International Develop- ment Agency'("ICIDA"I) to become senior com- munity educator for a health projet 'in West Africa, while her husband, Dr. Patrick McCarthy, w'as asked to be the- projeet coor- dinator. Both McCar- thys were scheduled to speak to the Rotary, however, a health problem will prevent Dr. McCarthy from at- tending, and his wife will combine their in- formation in her ad- dress.
