HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION Whitby Heart and Stroke Foundation will hold an organizational meeting on Monday, Nov. 19, 7:30 p.m. at the home of Jackie Guthrie, 945 Taunton Rd. W. (first farm east of Durham Rd. No. 23). The program will be to organize and- prepare for the Heart Month in February, 1985. Everyone in- terested in this cause is most welcome to attend. SNOWFLAKE BAZAAR St. John's Anglican Church wiII hold their bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 24 in the church hall from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The event will feature homemade can- dies, chocolates, sewing, knitting, new and used books, baking and preserves, crafts, bake table, cabbage patch doll clothes, novelties, kiddies cor- ner etc. The bazaar will be opened by a former member of the church, Lena Bird, who now resides in Bob- caygeon. The bazaar will also feature a tea room. NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH DeAngelo subdivision and surrounding area are making another effort to establish Neighbourhood Watch within their boundary. Residents are asked to attend a short meeting on Monday, Nov. 19 or Tuesday, Nov. 20 at St. Paul's School at 7:15 p.m. P.C. Jerry Dione will be the guest speaker, outlining the many advantages and protections of Neighbourhood Watch. The boun- daries this meeting will cover is north side of Man- ning Rd., Jeanne Crt., Garrard Rd. up to and in- cluding Hazelwood, and all of the DeAngelo sub- division.
