Instead, the commit- tee voted to give the O.H.S. a five per cent increase ini its fee for 1985. Coun. Ross Batten, chairman of the com- mittee, said' he wasn't prepared under any cir- cumstances to recom- mend a 26.1 per cent in- crease. The1 O.H.S. request wouid have seen the. fee jumnp from $156,063 in 1984 to $196,814 in 1985. The committee voted to increase .the fee :to $164,000.
