The Eastway Chrysier Plymouth peewees earned a 3-al tie with Etobicoke with goals by Rob Martin (2) and Matt Shearer before losing to Markham 10-3. Goals scored by Martin, Greg Fawcett and Erie Warner. In the llth annual peewee tournament, Eastway lost to better teams. After winning their first game against Ajax 5-2, goals by Mar- tin (2), Fawcett, Justin Cardwell and Drew Myers; they managed a 4-ail tde with Milton. Goals by Martin (2), Brandon Smith and Drew Myers. However, their hopes of advancing in the tournament were dashed when they lost to Milton 5-2. Whitby's goals by Myers and Warner. The County Bowl peewee No. 2 team also had a busy week. They lost to Pickering 3-1, Whitby's sole goal coming from Jamie Brousseau. But they went on to whip Bowmanville 8-2. The offense was led by Jared -Stevens with 5 goals. Rounding out the effort were Brousseau, Johnny Emm and Brad Thompson. They also tied the L.N.H.L. Canadians 3- aIl with goals by Brousseau, Mark Woit- zik and Adrian DeVeau. However, they came Up short in Stou.ffville losing both of their games in tournament play. They lost to Cobourge 3-0 and to Brampton 4-3. Whitby's goals came from Emm, Woitzik and Marty Blake. The major peewee Selects lost to Pickering 2-1 with Whitby's only Marker coming from John Doughderty. The minor bantam Selects lost both of their games last week. Brad Moore scored the only Whitby goals in their 3-1 loss to Belleville. They were also downed 9-4 by Chingualousy Toronto with Whitby goals coming from -Kevin ../asher (2), John Sholnik and Mike Thom. The Brooklin Sports birntam No. 2 team lost Lo Stouffville 8-5.
