S., Oshawa for $35, $20 and $50 per ton respectively. Kuwaliara said that tlie pilot program, which will last for six months, .will cost the municipaiity $11,000. This wil be offset by the sale of the materials and by a grant from the Ontario Ministry of the Environinent. The ministry will pay the cifference between the money esrned from the recyclable material and the cost of the program. The director also told council that it will be necessary to lire two additional staff meni- bers on a temporary basis.
