This alows the two- year old company to represent the best that companies such as Sperry, I.B.M., Televideo and Sanyo have to offer. For those companies looking to computerize, Perrotta has a sound piece of advice. "Take the time to figure out what you want," he says. "What takes the time is looking at what the business is already doing," he adds, "Then you take it from a sof- tware point of view; that is, from the point cf view of what you want it (the computer) to do." Perrotta also points out that "every function requires software. You can end up spending as much on software as you do hardware." It's the software that makes the system work and Runtime has a complete staff of exper- ts that are able to com- pletely introduce any small or .medium size business to a computer system. Runtime can perform practicaiy ai pre- and post-instailation ser- vices fron helping the businessman choose the software and hardware that is right for his en- treprise, training his staff to use the system and provide qualified technicians te service it after instalation. "We can provide practicaily anything," Perrotta says, "from manufacturing systems to law office systems to inventory control and more. "And, if need be, we can even create sof- tware." Most software packages sell for $300 and up. But the money is usually well worth it. "Just remember, as a profesional, you need a professional system," Perrotta saysý. adding that is what his com- pany strives to provide.
