Late last year, the board held meetings with the parents who feared that the English program would end because of low enrolment figures. The parents were afraid'that Fairman would become totally devoted to the French immersion program. The board assured the parents that there were no plans to cut off the English program and that should there be problems with enrolment, bussing of extra students in Whitby would be considered.
