Residents have requested a crosswaik for the safety of the many chiidren within the ares. Works director Dick Kuwahara in- dieated some time ago that a crosswailk is flot necessary. It is a hazardous intersection!1 One has to wonder if a child must be hurt or kiiled ln order to get our officiais to understand the need for a crosswaik. The park is situated across the road, and a very busy road at that, from some 150 to 200 children. Something should be done to lessen the danger for these children.
