Sennett Public Sehool Book Fair for a wide selection of books at great prices. The book fair, proceeds of which will be used to upgrade the school's library, will feature everything froni children's books and science fiction to aduit fiction and educational texts with prices run- ning as low as 70 cents a book. The fair will be staged Dec. 6, 10 and il bet- ween the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and also on Dec. 9from 9 a.. tili 11:45 a.m., 1 tili 4 p.m. and *again fromn7 till 9 MEETING The Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellow- ship in Canada will hold their monthly breakfast meeting Saturday, Dec. 14 at 8:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn, Bloor St. E, Oshawa. The special guest speaker will be Mr. Dan Statham, Director of Ministries Development for the 700 Club in Canada. A popular speaker, Dan has also been a guest on the 700 Club television program and co-hosted the 100 Huntley Street program. He also hosts and produces a weekly radio prograni that reaches into Europe called "Reality". His testimony includes a refreshing and humourous approach to parent/teen relation- ships. The topic for discussion will be a slide presentation called "Having a Cesarean is having a baby". LEARNING DISABILITY MEETING The Oshawa Association for Children and Aduits with lear- ning disabilities will be holding a seminar discussion on "How to Conimunicate Effec- tively with the Teacher" on Thursday, Dec.- 5. SNOW REMO VAL The Town of Whitby is co-rdinating a snow removal program for everyone and tor fur- The concert begins at senior citizens wishing to have driveways and sidewalks cleared. The Seniors' Activity Centre bas recruited students who are willing to provide this service at students' minimum wage. Any senior in the Town of Whitby requiring this service should caîl the Seniors' Activity Centre at 668- 1424 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.- weekdays. ALZHEIMER MEETING There will be a Durham Region Alzheimer Society meeting on Saturday, Dec. 14 at the Oshawa General Hospital. HOLLY DAY Saturday, Dec. 14 will be Holly Day in Durhami Region and volunteers will be selling fresh bunches of holly for $2 or simply as loose sprigs in return for a donation to the Christmas Seal Campaign.
