We have a very flexible training program and are open to anyone who can swim at least two lengths of the pool. The program for new swimmers allows for three-one hour sessions per week. This will refine their strokes and greatly increase their endurance. This is a viable alternative to in- termittant swim lessons as it con- ditions the swimmers and can lead to a future in competitive swim- ming. The young figure skater won a silver medal in her flight last Friday qualifying her to go on to the finals Saturday. With nine skaters in each of four flights, there were 36 skaters vying for a slot in Saturday's finals in the preliminary ladies free style.
