Heffering moved to Wbitby because of bigh expenses in Port Perreand after hearifig from Bill Little of Marketing &,Motivation Ltd, about bis Pearson Lanes development. "Tbings are going to happen here," believes Heffering, who adds that Whitby can provide the markethe is looking for. Witb Samuelsobn and Bencb- mark suits, Gant Dress shirts and Robicbaud ties among bis rich of- ferings in the middle to upper price range, Heffering is seeking the trade of the professional man. He says there have been no such specialty men's wear shops in the downtown area since Joe Ottenbrite closed the doors to bis store about two years ago. Heffering says be's neyer really considered another line of work. "T's always been my forte, I gues. So I stilk with it. I bappen to feel that tbis is what I'm good at dong. "And I like meeting people. It's a challenge." GREG HEFFERING prepares a display ln the new men 's wear store he has opened on Mary St. ini the new Pearson Lanes boutique development.
