Whereas, Jordan believes the Warriors have room for a lot of im- nrovemeiit. He notes. the team only had one practice with the final line-up before the Peterborough game. He described the game as typical for Peterborough - close checking with an emphasis on special teams. Jordan said the Warriors' borough's picks was mostly com- munication. Scoring for the Warriors last Wednesday were Scott Boyd, Gary Mark, Steve Dyment and Bill Passfield with two goals each. Singles went to Greg Van Sickle, Greg Lepine and Jason Richards. Despite being closely checked, Bill Calan had five assists. The Warriors have now had a week between games to work on their lunes. When the Whitby Warriors take to the floor tonight against the Brampton Excelsiors, coach Bryce Jordan doesn't just want to .beat Brampton, he wants to beat them badly. 'II want to beat them badly and get revenge for the loss they han- ded us. 1 want to show our superiority," he says. The Warriors have two wins and two losses entering tonight's con- test, having lost Iast Wednesday night to the Peterborough Maulers 14-11. The Warrior's only other loss was. at the hands of Brampton two weeks ago by a 12-11 count. Jordan had hoped the- Warriors would have three wins entering tonight's game after their first four games. He is not happy with the 2-2 record. If there was any bright spot against Peterborough last week, it was the Maulers' lack of change. "Their offence neyer changes.
