DAY CAMP Registration for this summer's Christmas Seal day camp for asthmatic children is now underway, with 25 available vacancies for children aged between 5 and 11 at the Camp Samac (Oshawa) facility. Funded by the Durham Region Lung Association, the camp will run for 2 seven-day sessions - Monday, July 11 to Sunday, July 17 (5 to 8-year-olds) and Monday, August 8 to Sunday, August 14 (9 to 12-year-olds). Prior registration is essential. Door-to-door bus transportation is available for children resident in Oshawa and Whitby. Registration fees for each seven-day period have been set at $50 per child (includes transportation), and for families with more than one child attending, this rate is reduced to $25 for the second child.
