During the night of April 11 - 12 someone entered the Pioneer Gas Stations at 850 King St. W., Oshawa and also at 114 Liberty St. S. in Bowmanville. The safes were opened and cash taken. Again, .during the night of April 21-22, the same two gas stations were entered and again cash stolen from the safes. There were no .signs of forcible entry to the premises or the safes on either occasion. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for these break and enters. Up to $1,000 is paid for information which leads to an arrest in any crime. Callers never have to give their names or appear in court. Daigle honored for Outreach work On April 26, the work of Outreach Abuse Prevention and Maureen Daigle was formally recognized and honored by John Sweeney, Minister of Community and Social Services. Maureen Daigle founded outreach in 1983 shortly after the rape and murder of Sharin Mornigstar Keenan.
