Hie was born in Pickering Township on Octobr 26, 1910, son of Joseph Leslie and Edith (Haigbt) Stephenson. He married Dorothy Randeli on November 2, 1974. Raised in Pieckering, and a resident of Enfield for 18 years before moving to Whitby in 1964, Mr. Stephenson was a fermer and General Motors employee. He was a inember of the United Cburch and Eastern Lodge #72.. He is survived by bis wife Dorotby, son Ronald of Effnis- killen, two granddaughters, stepdaughter Judy (Mrs. W. MacFaydeh), four step-grand- daughters and five great-grand- cildren. Also survived by sisters Louise (Mrs. P. Ward) of Little Britain and Marjorie (Mrs. G. Martyn) and brotber Harry of Whitby. Predeceased by bis first wife Olga Cowling. The funeral was held from the W.C. Town Funeral Home, Whitby, on May 7, 1988, Rev. Bilan Gee conducting. Interment at Groveside Cemetery, Brooklin. BRETA BURT Reta Burt, formerly of Whitby, died at ber residence in' St. Catharines on Thursday, May 26, 1988. She was 73. She is survived by husband George Burt, sons Jim (and daugbter-ýin-law Barbara) Burt of Kleinburg and Walter of Oshawa and grandcbildren Kelly and Shawn.
