JUNFg .n1988.P PAGE 17 Seniors' degree courses avail able By Debbie Luchuk, Seniors interested in post secondary education can take advantage of reduced tuition' charges or tuition at no cost at Durham Callege.- Durham College offers com- munity college diploma courses and degree courses leading to a bachelor af arts or science through an extension program offered by Trent University at the college campus. Durham offers most commun- ity college courses at $10 each, supplies or materiais extra for seniors 65 and aider. The Trent University courses are free ta those 65 and aver, books and supplies extra. Durham, College (excluding the Trent extension) offers business, technical, miedical-related and journalism courses, among many others. The Trent extension programn offers a lin-ited selection of courses in môst areas that Trent University in Peterborough offers: history, CanadÀaî., studies, English, French, geography, women's studies are but a few offered,- mostly arts courses. A comiplete degree in history or Engiish can be completed entirely at Durham College without attendling the Peterborough campus.
