Coscan sehool will cost $4.ë62nliio IThe- Durham Board of Education on Monday, night approved construction of ýthe unnamed Coscan (formnerly Costein) subdivision public school at a total cost of $4,624,800. ,The contract for construction was awarded to Tasis Contracting Ltd., at a cost of $3,992,000. Separate contracts, miscellaneous expenses and 'furniture and equipment bring the total to '$4.62 million. The board's approval'Monday carne after a previous decision to retender the project. The original contract tender for the school was $4.61 million which was $600,000 more than the retendered price accepted Monday. The board is aiming for a Sept. 1, 1989 opening of the school.
