Gerry Archer, general manager, said the dealership is exclusive in Durhami Region. "There was a big demand in this area for Acura, from Honda owners wbo wanted to move up (Mcura is a division of Honda)," Archer said. Durham Acura offers two basic ineups for the automobile customer - the Integra, a middle to upper-priced car in a sedan or sport coupe, 2- or 4-door; and the Legend, the top of the line vehicle at a bigher cost, competing with status cars such as BMW and Audi. The typical buyer of these cars is a "lassic middle to upper middlle class yuppie person," according to Archer. "This is the ideal car for the driving upper crust driving BMWs, or Audis or Volvo owners. They are cars for a person who appreciates and likes driving, something reasonably priced for servicing," he said. For servicing, Durbain Acura offers a free boan of a used car while the customer's car is in the shop. 'We have a brand ne w state of the art facility. The customer is treated with care.
