Gyles is heading east, and dloser te home with the purchase of the Donnan Motors Suzuki dealersbip in Pickering Village. Gyles, a Whitby native, bas purchased the dealership with bis partner, 1 Roger Davidson. Together they own Jim Davidson Motors of Scarborough, a Chrysier dealersbip. 1 Gyles located in Ajax because "Jim Davidson bas been in West Hill since 1949, with a lot of customers from the Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa area coming bere for service; and Suzuki -has a line of product that is on the low end of the price scale, and this gives us (tbe partners) more of a full range of products,» Gyles said. Both lots feature a "ful selection of used cars, and servicing for ail vehicles is available at both dealerships. "We've got a split operation, equipped at both dealerships ta service either product," Gyles said. The new dealership wiIl be the new home of* Roger Davidson Leasing. Gyles has been in the auto business since 1970. "A number of those years were spent with ChrysIer in vaious capacities in the marketing division, and the rest is retail." He bas been Davidson's partner for two years. .Gyles bas lived in WIhitby for five years and lived in Ajax, playing hockey in Whitby during hýs cildhood.
