Vienna Cafe offers Austrian and European dishes, as well as an impressive selection of pas- tries and cakes that will seri- ously tempt even the most deter- mined dieter. But if the diner truly possesses an iron willpower, owner Char- lotte Von Bun said thne menu also featufes Wlbight 'Counsélling Centre apprïoved vegetarian and "Io cal" pita sandlwiches and salads. «We offer things like weiner schnitzel, rouladen, and a variety of things we make at home (in Austria). Some of our dishe r not Austrian, like the goulash. It's Hungarian, but a bit dif- frent, it doesn't burn, after 15 minutes." Von Bun received her training through hotel school several years ago, and gained practical experience working in the family h6tul business in Austria. "I like cooking, and I had to cook in school, do waitressing and 80On." Von Bun does ail of the cook- ing and she has a very experien- ced' pastry chef ( with 20 years experience) from Germany. Another cook is coming from Vienna. The cakes are also available on order for special occasions, in varlous sizes and variations. Most of her clientele are busi- ness people working7 in the down- town area, but sh e hopes to attract a variety of patrons with extended hours and with a din- ner menu Friday and Saturday he is quite modest about her operation, but concluded, 'Ve want people to come in and s ée for themselves." Cafe Vienna is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday to Saturday.
