'This cost us a lot of money, said Bugelli. «Thie 01MB granted them permission and foroed us to pign an- agreement, now they want out. «Would it not be prudent to try to recover our costs on thisr" When Mayor Bob Attersley replied that such action m'y not be possible, councillor Marcel Brunelle asked if Canadian Tire was flot obligated to build the lubritorium. Planning director Bob Short said the company could not be foroed* to build it- and that -a municipality has up to 18 months to nullify a site plan agreement. Short added that a portion of Canadien Tire's $49,400 letter of credit with the Town, te cover engineering and landscaping coats, will be returned. Councillor Joe Drumm did not see the need for pursuing the issue.
