Ini league play Whitby defeated Pickering 11-1, Steuffville 7-1, Pickering 8-2, Pickering 8-4 and Aýjax 6-0. and tied Bowmanville 6-6. In 'the semi-final, Whitby played the second-place teani from the other division, the hoat tein Pickering 5-0. The final put Whitby on the ice once again withNAax who bail upset London in their semi-final. Ajax was really fired up after their upset 'win and wanted te, niake it two in a row. But Whitby was just too strong and allowed Ajax only one goal -- the only goal against Whitby in the teurnament -- but it was net enough as Whitby won 3-1. Gil Vamplew scored twice in the gaine against Ajax and with those two nxarkers scored his 5th goal. in 37 gaines. Goaltenders Ryan Callaghan and Scott Wylie are averaging 1.5 goals against. defeated Ajax/Pckrngtwc Vaughan twvice, Mrhn n Oshawa once each.
