This'past week students were interviewed and chosen for Prefect poitioüs for the next scholYear. Also00 'the students voted for their choioe of- the traditonl May Queen who portrays 'Truth, Virtue and. Lovelinesa' which is the motto of Trafalgar. Afgi Mehta was chosen May Queen with Stophanie Simmons and Kanira Cruz as the runners-up. On Tuesday, 'May 5, the Alumnae Association of Trafagar Castie presented -a -fashion show to raise funds. It was titled 'Spring Fling' and featured great models presented by Carlin Enepie.As two students of Trafalgar and our dean, Miss Roberts, were aznong the models whoee charm and poise captured the audience. There was shopping on the spot for the outfits modled and many other garments were also available for sale. Tea was served during- this very. entertaining show. On Fiiday, Ma 8 was Senior Dinner, one of Traf]gars most treasured events, which is a long- standing tradition honouring the graduates. The entire student boy and faculty were present for this occasion which was filled with sentiment, tears as well as humour.,Ail in attendance were legantly attired for this grand occasion. It was a memorable turne for the graduating students Wo reminisce with their friends as they recalled moments shared together at Trafalgar., After a, delicious- dinner, there wer e toasts in which prefects presented speeches, Wo the Queen, Canada, to the Aima Mater and the faculty and staff. The presidents of the.graduating class then gave their farewell speeches thanIng Trafalgar for the wonderful memories and this was followed by the speeches of the clasa presidents honorig the graduates. At this stage of the ceremony tears were streaming, down many of the graduates' faces because they were struck with the realization that smon they would be leaving the blessed halls of Trafalgar,, cherished friends and dedicated teachers.* Heads' of different achool organizations lke debating, environment and draina then gave speeches sharing the experiences encountered over the year, thankIng teachers who gave them guidance and wishing their su qssr the best of luck. Lastly, the graduating clas sang 'Ites se bard tW say goodbye Wo yesterday,' which was very Wouching and 'sentimental and brought out a lot of emotions and sadness as wel asý the deep love and ties formed at Trafagar. To end the night off with a feeling of camaraderie, the whole student body and faculty sang the echool song. After the ceremony there was the warmn embracing of friends and the congratulations of those who were awarded positions. It was a night to remember.
