She was 88. She was born Elisabeth Ver- heul on April 14, 1904 in Hazers- woude, The Netheriands. She married Pieter Duivesteyn on June 26, 1930 in Bieiswijk, The Netheriands. Mrs. Duivesteyn was a mem- ber of Emmanuai Reformed Church in Whitby. Grant Arnold Durham Regional Police Crime Stoppers and Durham Regional Police are asking for the public's help in solving an armed robbery that occurred in Courtice on Tuesday, April 28. Just after 4:30 a.m., a maie suspect, armed with a single-barrelled shotgun, entered the V P lus Gas Bar at 1402 King St. W. (northeast corner of King St. W. and Townline Rd.). The suspect confronted two employees and also a customer. The employees were ordered to turn over ail of the money from the tili. The tili was opened and the suspect reached over the counter and removed the cash with his i eft hand and shoved the bis into his pocket, The robber had the shotgun pointed at the victims during this incident. Before leaving the business, the suspect pointed the weapon at the customer and demanded his money. The suspect then asked for a carton of Players Filter. He was last s en running southbound across King St. towards the Bi-Way stre. Fortunately, ne ene was injured during the robbery and only a small amount of cash was stolen. The suspect is described as male, white 5-ft. 7-mns., 130 lbs., aged 19 to 20, biack, straight, shoulder-length hair and was clean shaven with a thin moustache. He was wearing a black bail cap, tan cioth-type bomber jacket, faded blue jeans, a blue T-shirt and running shoes. A re-enactment of the crime will be shown on CITY-TV (channel 57, cable 7) on Thursday, March 4 during the 6 and 10 p.m. news.
