Lynn Jacklin of Prince of Wales Dr. and Victor Perroni of Perry St. have both declared their candidacies for the NDP nomination. The New Democrats will choose their candidate on Thurs- day, April 16 at 7:30 p.ni. at St. Geoi-ge's Anglican Churcb, on the corner of Randail Dr. and Hwy. 2 in Pickering Village (Ajax). Jacklin, who teaches secondary school in Oshawa, is making ber first attempt at political office. A Whitby resident . for six years, Jacklin 48, has been active in the Ã4DP for about 20 years.
