Known as 'Headway,' the prgm is the first of its kind in urham Region and its goal is to re-integrate individuals with acquired brain injury into the community. Headway offers a full range of case management functions in the cient's home, including assessment, co-ordination of rehabilitation services, advocacy, counselling, education and family support. Additionally, the tearn assoiated with the prograni provides an 'in home' monitoring or the cinical treatment program, psychological care and vocationaVavocational re-entry. The outreach tearn consists of professional community rehebi- litation co-orcinators experienced Birdwatching at Lynde Shores Extra daylight and warmer temperatures are two indications of sping's return te, Durhamn Region. Another sure sign is the return of the birds to Cranberry Marsh in Whitby. The Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority (CLOCA) is holding an Earth Day waterfowl viewing event on Sunday, April 25 at Lynde Shores Conservation Area. Members of the public are invited to gather between 1 and 4 p.m. on the northeast viewing platform of Cranberry Marsh (reached by foot travel only along the rond extending south from the parking lot). CLOCA staff will be on hand to assist nature watchers in identifying a variety of waterfowl species. Naturalists from the Durham Region Field Naturaiists Club and the Pickering Naturalists will assist the public in 'Waterfowl Viewing' on Sunday, April 18, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the waterfront near Oshawa Second Marsh.
