They will focus on three main areas: Education Today; Parenting Skills; and Effective School Advisory Committees. Henry's outstanding flute quartet came away from the festival with a first-place finish after outperforming sanie stiff competitian. And Smita Val was asked to dlight a future audience at the 'Stars of the Festival Concert,' after she was awarded first place in the senior division woodwind competitioa and receivad a $350 scholarship. The theme was 'Hat and sung- lasses' ta celebrate the heautiful weather. Also on 'Puesday was parent- teacher niglit when repart cards were handed out (oooooa... ). Friday, April 23, aur draina troupe, Les Pinces Sans Rire, presented, for the first turne, the play 'Pas plus de genie qu'il n'en faut.' The play is about a genie wha ca't seera te do anything right. It was written by localplay- wIht Roand Rchette (hi, Dad!,and directed by Denise Gagne, who is the vice-principal at eoale catholique Corpus- Christi. The play starred Joal Boivin as Germain (the genie's master), Sophie D'Auzac-Dl am arti nie, who played Lorraine (Germnain's love interest), Cathy Jordan as Mathilde (Germnain's best friend), and Mathieu Tan gu ay as Ali (the ana who lived in the bottie).
