T'his year's student council electians resultad in a vote for Mark Rainay a,, president for the 1993-94 schari year. A year ta romember this one will undoubtedly ha, The school, that is, of 1992-93. This year, it's hard to haliove passed so fast, When most of us thought it was going ta, last and last. Who would have thought school could ha this much fun, Thon again, how could it nat ha whon the Hawks are number one? Keeping upw~ith the Hawks is not a simple feat, In acadcmnics we rule and in sports we can't ho haat. They started off the year and throughout kept us keen, Our student council, Josh, Joli', Eric, Lara and Kathleen. Noxt year, Jenn, Amy, Mike, Gord and Vik will replace The student council of old, and what challenges they'il face. New tears and activities were added this year alike, Including Henry SAID and dance and aorobics, ta hclp you stay light. The 'Slave Auction' and 'Dress Dawn Day' were sean again for United Way Week, As well as 'Pay ta Park' and ' The Dating Game' ta make this year's avent unique. Cancer and Saxual Assault Awareness wero just twva celebratcd weeks, But don't forgot also, Safety Awareness and the Enviro Ciub's Earth Week. Something different this year which miade anc specific weok aven hatter, Was one froc day off of school due ta realiy snaovy weather. The music dcpartment wvas as busy and delightful as always, With exchangcs, parades and concerts ta pass the sonetimes endless days. The dramna club wvas equally invaived, in fact, With 'In Retrospcct of Thorns' and 'An Evening af One Acts.' Great ' Ts,' a BBQ and the contest 'Pie in Your Eye,' Was the student council way of waving the grads goodbye. The seniors' favourite avent was ontitled, ' Enchantment Under the Sea,' And was a niarvelous evening, thanks ta Brandi Z. Valedictorian was namad that very same night, And Dava Mudga it would seem fit the criteria just right. Mr. Musselman, sadly, too, will ha leaving this year For averything he's dona at Henry he deserves an enormous Hawk cheer. To aIl those whose time to leave Henry has corne, AIlways treasure the timos, the laughs, the mamories and the fun!
