Going the distance for the winners was MeFarlane, giving up only two bits and striking out seven. In the second game, Trenton presented a greater challenge te Whitby, as Trenton - was deterrnined not to get 'swept' in their home park. The game was a low-scoring affair compared te the first game. Not te be denied, Whitby pulled out a 5-3 win te complete the sweep. Clarke got the big hit for Whitby, banging out a triple in the fourth inning te score three runs and put Whitby in the lead Heather Robinson of the Dur- ham Ponyh Club bad a second- p ace finisha the first Central Ontarie regi on CNE show jump- ig qualifier in Pickering June 13. Robinson, riding Overcast, was second in the open class. The top three finishers in each cisas will represent Central Ontario at the Eastern Canada show jumping championships at the CNE.
